How we learn
How we learn
We believe Malayalam is not just a language, it is an integral part of our culture and identity. Learning Malayalam covers understanding these cultural aspects and we emphasise on this in our regular classes.
We take a different approach to help students learn Malayalam. The classes are divided into three levels; Basic, Intermediate and Advanced.
Basic Level
Beginners - cannot speak or understand Malayalam
Intermediate Level
Can understand/speak Malayalam (not fluent)
Advanced Level
Can speak fluently, interested in learning reading and writing
Classes are usually one hour sessions with separate breakout rooms for different levels. We use a wide range of resources to make the classes interesting and the main mode of communication is English. Higher level classes have more interaction in Malayalam.
